After blowing my engine up after having a bit too much of a spicy 🔥 map on my drift car I reverted back to my original mapped ecu.. very quickly found it felt down on power in general but was suffering from some pretty severe flat spots throughout the rev range.. After speaking with Dan at a drift day he went above and beyond to get my car driving as it should! Wrote me a bespoke map to my preferences + adding in some of his safety features to make sure I don’t go full asbo again and blow up another engine. 2 days later on my way Upto Oulton Park for taxi rides I stopped in at DRIFTX HQ where he mapped the ecu but due to rocking up alittle later then intended couldn’t be tested at the time. So Dan then proceeded to give me his laptop and keep him in in the loop if there was any issues that arose or if I just didn’t like how it performed so he would be able to remote access whilst at the track. In the end this wasn’t necessary as the car performed spot on! Especially when I had been pushing the car alittle too hard for a prolonged bit of time. The safety cut in letting me know I needed too let the engine oil cool off before carrying on with more rides… overall, the map is perfect, the car drove as it should (finally)with all the power and torque holding throughout the rev range. I will be bringing my other cars back too Dan soon to get some DRIFTX love on them too!

Cheers Dan top man!

Top Job Guys!!!!

Just had my E36 in for a full service and a Powerflex bush install, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience.

The work itself was spot on — the car feels tighter, smoother, and genuinely transformed to drive. You can tell real care went into everything.

Massive shoutout to Daniel, who went above and beyond. His attention to detail is on another level. He didn’t just do the job — he thoroughly went over the entire car, flagged anything worth keeping an eye on, and sent detailed videos explaining everything clearly along with honest advice. That kind of transparency and passion is rare.

It’s not often you find a garage that treats your car like their own, but that’s exactly what you get here. Highly recommend to anyone who actually cares about their car.

I messaged Dan on a whim, asking for a last minute diagnostics reading. He was incredibly helpful, affordable and accommodating. His equipment is top notch and sent over a fully detailed report allowing me to track down a fault that I’ve been chasing for ages! Will definitely keep him in mind for any future work and cannot recommend him highly enough. Also he gets 5 stars simply for being a cool chap with some even cooler cars in the shed! Thanks Dan, I really appreciate it.

Can’t recommend Daniel and Chess at DriftX enough.
These guys did some very unique work on my fzs600 that most garages turned down, helping me for hours to solve my issue ( stripped header manifold bolts) on a Sunday
I cannot express the quality of their work, passion and knowledge
Both lovely people too which helps hugely
All done at an incredibly reasonable price. These guys will remain friends with me for a long time!! Many thanks again

I recently had a set of custom HEL brake lines supplied through DriftX and honestly couldn’t be happier. From the first message, Dan was awesome to deal with! He really knew his stuff and made sure everything was spec’d correctly for my setup rather than just selling me an generic off-the-shelf kit.

The lines arrived promptly and were spot on. They were high quality and fit perfectly, exactly what i wanted. You can tell this isn’t just a parts reseller, it’s someone who actually builds and understands cars properly.

Great communication, quick turnaround, and proper motorsport-level advice throughout. I’ll definitely be using DriftX again for future parts. Highly recommended!
